  1. Home-made Toys
    I often make a gun with which to shoot snipe and other birds. The name of the gun is a catapult. First I get a stick with two prongs on each side of it, which is called a "gabhlóg" and then two pieces of rubber. I tire each piece on to each side of the "gabhlóg". The pellets I use are round stones.
    I often make a crib for catching birds. First of all I go to the woods and gather a great number of sally rods. Then I tie four together. Then I plait the other rods in between up along until it is made. The birds we catch
