  1. Local Fairs.
    There is a fair held in Castlebar every month. It is held in the fair green always. When a farmer sells a beast he always gives luck money back to the man that buys her.
    He gives luck money so that the animal will be lucky. When they are buying a beast people bargain a lot. When they are buying they clap their hands together. When they get the money for an animal they spit on it for luck. The jobbers mark the cattle with a cattle marker. It is made up of radell and blue stone. They
