    Never put God's Horses out of the house as you will have bad luck for the day.
    Breaking a mirror means seven years' bad luck.
    To see a magpie is a sign of bad luck. To keep it away you should cross your fingers.
    If a cock comes into the house in the morning its a sign that someone is going to die.
    To see a white cat in the morning is a sign of bad luck for the day.
    A whistling woman, or a crowing hen is neither good nor lucky.
    If there are 3 candles lighted in a room [by mistake] its the sign of a wake in the house.
    To fall in God's acre, some people say you'll die during the year and others that
