  1. There are lots of roads going from Letterkenny to other towns and villages. The roads are = Newmills Road, Port Road, Derry Road, Ballymaccool Road, Glencar Road, Back Road. They all lead from Letterkenny to the above places. There are lots of old cart tracks and disused roads here in Letterkenny too, they are not used now. There is an old road branching off the Glencar Road and it was made in the famine period. There is an old Mass path along a little stream leading up
