    Long ago when Finn McCool lived in Ireland.

    Long ago when Finn McCool lived in Ireland. The people in England and Scotland thought that he was a very tall man but he was a very small man.
    The King of England thought he would come over and beat him in a fight. So he started for Ireland.
    Finn then heard of his arrival in the country. On the day of the fight Finn got into the cradle. Then in walked the King and he asked where Finn was and his mother said he was off to Switzerland. Then the King went over to the craidle and put his hand on the babies head and found it had a crown of steel. He then asked what is this. His mother said it is just like what was on Finn's head when he was born. When the King heard this he
