    Some distance outside of Stranorlar there was a bog with a well in the centre of it.

    Some distance out-side of Stranorlar there was a bog with a well in the centre of it. It was said that fairies lived in this well. One day some men were working in this bog and while they were doing so they were making fun of the fairies. When the men went home for their dinner they left their coats behind them.
    The fairies in the well were angry because the men made fun of them. The men returned in about two hours. When they saw
