    -cough eats it. Then someone leads the donkey to a well and lets it take a drink of the water the person will soon get better of the whooping cough. Another cure for the whooping cough is, if two people are married of the same name and gives the person a piece of home-made bread and butter they will be cured.
    The cure for heart burn is to eat some damp clay or to take baking-soda and buttermilk.
    The cure for ring worm is to put a purple pencil into boiling water and when it is taken out again put a ring round where the ringworm is and when that is done burn the pencil.
