They chased him a many a time and no Police man could catch him They sent for a police man to Galway, he was supposed to be a great runner they caught him making poteen in the ox mountains this Police man followed him through the mountains and the bogs the Police man followed him as far as he could Seán Gapad Ruane took his time until the Police man came within talking distane of him. The Police man said if he would give himself up to him he would give him a pound note Seán Gapad Ruane caught the Police man and dragged him through a bog hole until he wasn't worth taking out Seán took him
