    and left the cake down on it and they used put coals on the top of it.
    The old people used to make arán coirce in two leaves of cabbage.
    First they put a leaf of cabbage on the hearth under the cake and one over it and coals on it.
    Other people made cakes by putting four sods of turf under the cake and the tongs over that.
