  1. We have a churn at home. There are different parts in it: the lid, the dash and the jogler. We churn twice a week in Winter and three times in Summer. My mother that churns the cream. If any person came in when the churning is going on he would take the dash for a while because it is said if they did not churn they would bring the butter away. We churn in twenty minutes. My mother takes out the butter of the churn. First she washes it till the water till it comes clean. Then she puts salt in it. She puts the buttermilk in bread. When the cows are milked the milk is strained and put into
