Ar an leathanach seo

  1. There are a lot of old roads around Ahascragh.
    The main road which leads to Mount Bellew and Ballinasloe. There is another road in the village and it leads to the Horse Block. There is a crossroads there, one road leads to Fohenagh and the other leads to Killure. The Fohenagh road leads to Kilconnell and the Killure road leads to Ballinasloe. All these roads are still used by motorists and travellers.
    Some of these local roads were built in order to give employment to people during the time of the Famine.
