  1. The most harmful weeds on the farm are namely:-
    chicken weed, thistle, dog-leaf, glorawn, gladam, phrasach weed and the milk weed.
    The chicken weed and phraesack weed spread rapidly the dog leaf, thistle, glorawn, gladam, and the milk weed impoverish the soil. The dandeline grows only in good land.
    The local herbs are namely:-
    The chicken-weed sued for spraines and swellings.
    The roots of the scutch grass are used for making iodine. Garlic is used for blood poisin and for killing consumption.
    If a cow ate garlic you could not used her milk for a fortnight.
    Goat's milk is very nourishing, because a goat eats nothing but herbs, it is said that any bush or shrub a goat eats will never grow again.
