    she managed to drop a pin in the other girl's hair which put her asleep. Then the mother came and gave her food.
    But the other girl had an eye in the back of her head and she told her mother what happened. The step-mother wanted to kill the sheep and the husband consented. The little girl ran out and told her mother that they were going to kill her. The mother made a bag of rushes and put it around her neck and she told her to bury the bones of the sheep under a bush.
    When the sheep was killed the girl gathered the bones and gathered all that was left over and buried them under a bush. When she lifted the bush her mother appeared and told her that she would bring her to a castle where she would work. So she did. One Sunday the maids went to mass and told her not to let a burn on the cake.
