    A song a son till he gets a a wife a daughter is a daughter all her life.
    It's long road that there is no turning.
    Smooth wather is neaver deep.
    I don't boil my cabbage twice
    Wet in May, and heat in June
    Makes the ploughman sing a merry tune.
    A shut mouth catches no flies.
    One good turn deserves another.
    It's not every day that Paddy buys a calf.
