    You can easily know when a wind storm is coming as horses are to be seen galloping about the fields.
    It is a sign of good weather if the swallows are seen flying high in the air.
    If the mountain on the eastern side of Lake Allen is of a blue colour in the evening, it is a sure sign of a spell of good weather.
    "If the cuckoo sings on a leafless thorn sell your cow and buy corn" is an old saying in this district.
    If the crane flies towards the mountain it is a sign that rain is coming.
    If the two ends of the new moon are turned upwards it is a sign that the month will be dry.
