There is a bridge in Shrownoun called Gabbet's bridge it was called after a man named Gabbet who came fishing and fowling to this area and when the bridge was making. He subscribed a sum of money to help to make this bridge to help to make this bridge.
There is a field here in John Sullivan of Meen called Thornogue or Tír na nÓg the land of youth fairies. I do not know why it was called this name only just that the field joins a fort. May be they were here long ago but have grown very old and disappeared all together.
