They heard he fought in self-defence
But then he's usually so tame
A child might drive him off the plain
    Which does quite plainly represent
He' not on subtle mischief bent.
Besides for size and shape and quality.
He exceeded the buck's of this locality
And that appears to be well known
As its to him all the goats are going.
And no one ought to be aloath
To drive to him their merry goat.
But not till she gets frisky looking
Or he's the sign of being a bucking.

Sometimes a week before they ought.
And tells them in a surly tone
To keeps such goats as those at home.
And not to bring them till fit
To be as he does style it tipped
No one should he say's presume
To bring a goat thats not in tune.
At home he tells them is the place to leave her
Until her tail begins to waver.
And then he says she should be brought
If possible as quick as thought
So now to state the keepers charge
    To the community at large
