  2. A large spring well at the bottom of the hill at the north end of brunkirk; [?] called after an old woman called Mary Fury who lived near the place at one time.

  3. A small well on the roadside near the home of Widow Coreavy, Drumkirk. Called after Rosie Pender who lived in a little cabin, the track of which can still be seen near the place.
