    and all of a sudden I heard the giant come in He had a big knife in his hand and he went around and cut a bit off them and at last he came to me "And now" said the thief showing the king his leg "look at where he cut seven pounds off me". Was'nt that nearer to death than this man and still I was safe". "That is true" said the King "tell me another and the last can go"
    Well said the thief I was out another time and I came to another giants house. There was a woman in the corner and a little child by her. "Oh a mich mo chroide" says she "do you know where you are, in a giants house and he has ordered me to kill my own little son for his dinner". You will not kill your son I said give me a knife and I will help you. I took the knife and cut off
