  2. There are only two forges in this Parish. The smith that was in Tarmons left it. His name was John Dennehy and Bill Finucane the owner of the forge in Tarbert. Finucane's father was a smith before him but Dennehy only learned his trade. The Tarmon's forge is near a river but Finucane's is far away from the river. They are all like houses around in shape. The two that are in the town have stone
