    In the townland of Keel there is a field in Ned Namack's farm known as the Killeen Field because there is a height in the field where there was a church built in olden times. There is a gravel pit there now.
    Some time ago people taking gravel from it found human bones so that it must be a burying ground. People say that Bishop Tarvin is buried there. It must be true that there is a burying ground there because the townland is called Killaspicktarvin.
    In the townland of Derrevrin there is another field known as Pairc Na Scalla owned by Peter Kenny at present. It is a very big field and well fenced. The Moriarty's who were the owners at that time used to keep stud horses. It is said
