  1. There was a storm about ten years ago in the month of November 1927. It started about 4 o'clock in the evening and lasted about twelve hours. It did a lot of harm to the country knocking down farm houses, cottages, sweeping haysheds, hay and straw were also knocked around the place. Trees were knocked down and blocked the roads.
    Telegraph poles and wires were also put out of order. The storm was followed by a heavy flood which left the countryside in a bad state. This storm was supposed to be the worst for a long time as old people say.

    A storm took place in this part of the country about 1909. This storm was a great big gale and it carried every thing it was able to carry. It carried Tom McKennas hay shed over into Michael
