  1. Certain days of the week are said to be unlucky such as Mondays and Fridays. People don't begin any new work on those days because it is said to be unlucky. Anyone don't get married on Fridays or Wednesdays 21st of April is supposed to be the last day of Spring for planting potatoes.
    There is a custom in Kerry about new years day. One new years morning it is a man that enters his neighbours house first. If a woman is the first that enters bad luck will
