    as ever in the coarse of a few days. The pig increased in weight and about a fortnight before St Martins Eve he decided to sell it at the Tralee pig fair.
    He left home for the fair before day light. A neighbour who knew of the promise he made to St Martin got inside the ditch of the road and called out several times. Give the pig to St Martin, Give the pig to St Martin, Give the pig to St Martin.
    Sullivan got afraid returned home and when St Martins Eve came he killed the pig and he had plenty bacon for the Winter.
