  1. the cure they had for the Yellow jaundice was to boil fresh sheep's dropping in new milk for a few hours and after straining it to drink it.
    Michael Dillane Listellick Tralee aged 50 years.
    The Sorrel is used for airing boils. It is pounded and applied to the boil as a poultice.
    There is a little plant growing called Turpin. It grows on the roofs of houses and on gate-pillars. It is great for curing ring-worm. The juice is squeezed out of it and bottled and it is then regularly rubbed on to the ring-worm.
    The above two cures were given by Mrs OShea The Gleann Listellick Tralee aged 66
    (she was formerly from Eyeries Berchoven.
