    John Neill, Magh, Gortatlea was a great weight thrower. Jerry Broder, Dromore, carried fifty stone of oats in a sheet around the market of Tralee twice for a wager of a gallon of whisky. He lived in Dromore fifty years ago. Bill Cotter saw him doing it. A man named Kelliher lived in Keeleigh. His horse went bogging one day. He put the reins around him and carried him him on his back. Jerry Broder, Dromore, saw him doing it. he lived a hundred years ago. A man named Kirwan lived in Castleisland. He was a great weight thrower and a swift runner.
