  2. One evening a man was coming from afar. He met a cat. The cat got into the axle under the car and stayed there till they came to Milltown (Co. Kildare). The man stopped and went in to a public house. There were other men in the public house and they were starting drinks. The cat came in and said "I'll have a pint too". They gave him the porter on a saucer and he drank it. The cat went home with the man and stayed with him till he died.
