  1. Our village is in the parish of Carnacon and in the barony of Carry. It is called Cappacharnane. There are ten houses in the village. It is all thatched houses that are in it. The most common name in the village is the O'Malleys of them are five familys of them in it. The most of the land is rich and it grows very good crops. There is one old house in our village
