  1. There is only one forge in our parish and that one is situated in Burvey(?). The man who owns it is called Michael Staunton. His brother also owned a forge in Hyle(?) but he is dead now and a shop now stands in place of the forge. The forge is roofed with galvanised iron. There is an arch door in it and it is made of timber and painted red. The smith shoes horses and donkeys and wheels and he
