    Long ago boys and girls had many plays. Girls makes made necklaces of daisies and they played Jackstones. The boys used to play many games. They used to snare rabbits and hares and birds and they used to make guns of poplars.
    This is how the boys used to snare the birds. When the snow was on the ground. They used to make a cage of rods and they used to to put food under the cage to catch the birds.
