- When St. Patrick was in Aughagower he asked Corm Dub for two horses to gather stones to build a round tower. When St Patrick went to Corm Dub house he set the dogs on St Patrick but St Patrick brushed their hair back and it is growing back every since. It was growing (two) towards his head. Corm Dub gave St. Patrick two goats and they brough twice as much stones as any two horses. They is why it is called Augha-gower(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
