    The master said he would rather be skinned from head to foot than to give £400 but when the boy drew the knife lightly on his back, he roared for mercy and he told the boy that he could have the money, but leave him his skin. And so the boy whom everyone said was a fool was smarter than his master, and went a proud & happy lad to his poor mother and when she saw all the money she was delighted and they lived very confortable ever after.
