    some secret prayers, which are handed down from generation to generation.
    Ringworm:
    The seventh son or daughter of any family, provided that a worm was placed in the child's hand when born, has the cure for the ring-worm. He says some silent prayers and rubs unsalted butter or some other simple mixture on the sport affected.
    Cow-pox:
    Only certain people have the cure for this ailment. They mix unsalted butter, sulphur and supplement, and rub it on the spots until they are healed.
    Toothache:
    (1) The water in which a blacksmith cools his irons
