  1. (continued from previous page)
When her own turn came she told about her adventures in the mountain but she said it was a dream. The man was getting afraid now and he said, "Dreams are fables and fables are lies. Saddle our horses for home we must ride." "Wait a minute." said the woman. "Now what would ye do to the man that did those things if ye had him?" "We'd burn him in a barrel of tar." said the crowd. "Well,"said the woman. "It was not a dream. That's the man that did it, and here is the ring of the dead woman." Then the crowd seized the man and killed him.
