- We often hear ghost stories but there is no authority for most of them. There are ghosts there however, and they go around the country at the dead of night. Some of them mean no harm, but other's do bodily harm according to the old people, many a person was left practically dead, after a basting from an evil spirit that haunted oakpark over eighty years ago.
