- Nicholas Connell living at Longford, Duleek, found a beautiful stiletto here a couple of years ago while working on the roads. It was made of silver and ivory and was worked in a very elaborate manner.
It is supposed to have been the property of King James and that it was lost by him on his retreat from the Battle of the Boyne. This was the route over which he travelled.
