He, his wife ran up to him and hastily asked what was the matter. At last her husband gasped out "Oh dear the black cow has eaten up the iron milk pail. His wife was as ready with her tongue as ever. She hardly gave him time to get out the last word before she shouted aloud. "I told you so, I told you so". You always would let the pail stand out of doors.
