Local CuresLong ago people used to be cured from diseases by local medicine.
The could cure toothache by getting a frog gutting it and stewing it and then putting it into the bad tooth.
For rash they used to get the white part of an egg and put sugar into it, and it was supposed to cure them within four days.
They used to cure headaches by going to a holy well and staying there head downwards for three hours and then rubbing three drops of the water of their forehead with a quill.
