    Signs of frost.
    When frost is expected all the stars are sparkling in the sky, the train can be heard very clearly on the railway line.
    Signs of snow.
    When snow is expected the weather gets very cold and the wild geese come from Scotland.
    When a storm is expected the sky gets very bright and the cat starts scraping wood. All the sheep gather to-gether and they go to a corner in the field where there is shelter.
    When fine weather is expected the smoke goes up straight from the chimney, and the sun goes down very red in the evening. There is also an insect called a bumble
