- (continued from previous page)Oh I wish I was a boatman, I would handle my oar
And back to dear Carrig, I would gently roe
Oh I wish I was in Carrig, It's there I'd be at home
It's there I'd have a sweetheart, but here I'd have none.
But as I am no boatman, I will sit down here quiet
And watch the new boat, 'till it sails out of sight. - A man bought a cow for £24 S10. The cow calved a few days afterwards. The woman then began to gather for a churning. The churning began but if they were churning yet no butter would come. They gathered the milk again but it was just the same. While they were churning the second time a priest came in and they told him but he only laughed. They gathered the milk again and gave it to a woman in the village but she could not get any butter either. The cow had to be sold again and the next people that got her it was the same.
