  1. There are many customs carried out on certain days during the year such as on New Year's Day you should not cry or have bad habits or to hand out any money because you would be at that all the year.
    On May Day you should not give milk to any one, or throw out ashes. Some people put a coal of fire under the churn so that the fairies would not take away the butter and others would not let you in the front door you would have to go around to the back.
    Novembers night people make calley and leave some of it out side to the fairies.
