  1. The name of the last travelling woman in my district was Ann McDonnell. She has visited my home for many years, and generally came about twice a year. She was very poor.
    As a rule she had nothing for sale. This woman was a great favourite among the people of my district, and was generally welcome everywhere she visited. She stayed one night in each house. As a rule she had tea sugar, and bread with her given to her by the neighbours as she passed by. She was
