  1. There are many different kinds of weeds growing in our farm, but the most harmful are the thistle, the buacallan and the chicken-weed. These weeds are harmful because they are spread rapidly and destroy the crops. The dandelion is a good herb for curing diseases. It grows on the side of the road and on ditches. It has a yellow flower and in its stem there is a milky fluid which is good for several complaints.
