The land of my townland is not very bad. The people have from twenty two to thirty acres of land each.
There is a fort in the townland about five hundred yards from my house. My uncle Patrick Doherty saw fairies in it, and my father when passing it one night went astray. There is a never flowing from the bogs into the river Moy. It flows through the townland of Cloontakillew and Tullyegan.
