    and the corpse taken out. Then this old pagan drew a sword and cut the corpse in two giving each one the half. He later repented for his rash deed and the church put as penance upon him, the task of building, three churches in three Cluains and never ask any living being where those Cluains were. He knew Clondahorkey so he built his first church there and started to look for the second Cluain. At last after a long and weary search he found Cluain-da-Vaddog and there he built his second church. Then after years of search, coming down the road he heard one boy calling to another "Your cows are in the corn down in Cluain-beag". So he went down after the little boy and found the ruins of an old church, and there he built his third church in Cluain-beag. During this time he dared not ride on horse-back but had to walk on foot until his task was finished.
