    of spinning wheels in this parish at present. There are three spinning-wheels belonging to women in the townland of Knocknafaugher.
    After a death people wear black clothes for a year and the old people say it is unlucky to wear any thing new to a wake or funeral.
    The tailors carry on their work in their own homes. The travelling tailors get work tailors who have their own homes. The tailors keep cloth in the house, but they do not sell it, they keep the cloth for making suits. The tailors buy the cloth from factories. The tailor has a needle, a bottomless thimble, scissors, and a sewing machine
