    the cows. The goats have kids and the goats give milk.
    Sheeps.
    The sheep eat grass in the fields in the Summer time, and in the Winter-time the people bring them in to a house at night and give them corn to eat, and let them out in the morning again. Some sheep are tethered out in the fields, and some are langeled, that is, the fore foot and the hind foot, on the same side, is tied together by a bit of a rope, this rope is one foot and a half long.
    Fowls.
    The hens, ducks, geese and birds all stay together in the street and some-times they are closed in the garden. At night the birds are put into boxes, and the hens, ducks, and geese go into the hen house. Clocking hens are hens that sit on eggs in a box and hatch the young birds. Clocking hens do not lay eggs. When we are setting the eggs we put thirteen eggs into a box and then we put the hen on top of them. We take the hen off the eggs
