Halloweve comes on the last day of October and children especially look forward to that day as a time when they get as many apples and nuts as they can eat.
The children play lots of games on Halloweve night. Some get an apple and tie a string on it and then hang it up to the ceiling. Then they try to get a bite from it without puting their hands to it.
