  1. My father sets about three acres of potatoes every year. The ground is ploughed by an iron plough. Iron ploughs were first used here about a hundred year ago. After that it is harrowed. Then the drills are opened by another plough.
    Then manure is put in the drills. After that Artifical manure is sown. Then the drills are closed after the potato cuts have been put in.
    Before the potatoes come up they are saddle harrowed, then they are ploughed up. When
