    hill in which fairies are supposed to love in. People say that if you moved the rock or touched it that the fairies would take you a prisoner. They were looked upon as friendly beings. It was considered very unlucky to interfere with them in any way, and nobody ever dared touch them.
    Mr James Ferguson is supposed to have heard the fairies crying because they had no potstick to stir their porridge and he made them one. The next day he found a pot of gold they had left for him.
